MLAB 2017-18 - Mentor Application

1. INTRODUCTION

ELIGIBILITY:
Harvard College students interested in being an MLAB mentor must:
• have taken at least 1 Portuguese course in the past or be currently enrolled in at least an introductory course;
• have mentoring or related experience (or a strong desire to mentor);
• commit to mentoring and inspiring their Brazilian mentee over four months of virtual mentorship sessions;
• travel to São Paulo, Brazil in January 2018 for a two-week immersion with mentees;
• participate in all MLAB activities, including orientation, training, virtual events, and check-ins;
• be interested in learning more about Brazil through cultural exchange and direct interaction with Brazilians.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: September 14th, 2017, 11:59pm

INTERVIEWS: Semi-finalists will be interviewed by the MLAB Program Coordinator on September 18 and 19, 2017.

FINALISTS: Announced on September 22, 2017.
