Abstract submission Latin America Research Challenge | AO Recon

Requirements for Presenters:

– Be 40 years old or younger.
– All candidates must be orthopedic surgeons specializing in joint preservation and replacement.

– Be fluent in English.

Requirements for the abstract:

– Not exceed 500 words (excluding the title, author information, acknowledgments, references, or captions).
– Be original research that has not yet been published.
– Be written in English.

Selection process and Awards:

– The abstracts will be evaluated by the AO Recon Adivisory Group, constituted by Aida Garcia, Bartolome Allende, Daniel Schweitzer, Dario Garin, Guillermo Bonilla and Rodrigo Guimarães.

– The best abstract will be selected to be presented at the AO Latin America Research Challenge cross-division event, representing Recon, and the presenter will be awarded with travel, accommodation, and course registration to attend the AO Recon Regional Course 2024.

Deadlines:

– Open for submission: February 12th, 2024

– Deadline for submission: May 6th, 2024

– Final selection of the best study: May 31st, 2024

– Travel to Bogota: September 2024
